This beginner course will give you the skills to start writing and recording your own music. Learn the basics of digital software including Logic Pro X, MIDI, sampling and synthesisers, with handy hints and tips on mixing and arrangement to help you create the sounds you want to hear.
Over 10 weeks we'll demystify the music studio and offer you a deeper insight to the world of music.

This ten-week course will take place on Tuesday evenings from 6.30-9.30pm, beginning on Tuesday 21 May 2019 and concluding on Tuesday 23 July 2019. All sessions will be held at Knowle West Media Centre, Leinster Avenue, Bristol, BS4 1NL.

About the Tutor
Course tutor Harry Stoneham is an professional musician and sound engineer of over 10 years, currently based in Bristol. Alongside a busy performance schedule he has taught music production at The Academy of Music and Sound, Southampton and several other schools and colleges.
Terms & Conditions
This course will be confirmed to run when a minimum number of bookings have been secured. In the event that your course doesn't go ahead, you will be notified within 48 hours of the course start date and will be given a full refund. We cannot refund any pre-booked travel costs you may have incurred in preparing to travel to this course.
If you cancel a place on this course giving more than 7 days notice from the first session (before 6.30pm on Tuesday 14 May 2019) you will receive a full refund, minus a 10% admin charge. Cancellations made with less than 7 days notice (after 6.30pm on Tuesday 14 May 2019) will not be refunded.
Partial refunds will not be given for sessions you miss or are not able to attend.
