Learn how to design and make items of laser-cut jewellery in this four-hour Saturday workshop at our digital manufacturing space KWMC: The Factory. 

During the session you'll learn how to use the vector design software Inkscape to create digital versions of your pieces. Your designs will then be machined from wood or acrylic in our laser cutter, ready for you to add the finishing touches and fastenings. 

Beginners welcome 
Suitable for ages 16+ 

There are several dates to choose from for this course:

Both courses will take place from 10am - 2pm at KWMC: The Factory, Unit 24 Filwood Green Business Park, Filwood Park Lane (off Hengrove Way), Bristol, BS4 1ET.

This course will be confirmed to run when a minimum number of bookings have been secured. In the event that your course doesn't go ahead, you will be notified within 48 hours of the course start date and will be given a full refund. We cannot refund any pre-booked travel costs you may have incurred in preparing to travel to this course. 

With the exception of the situation detailed above, all sales are final. Refunds will not be given in the event of you cancelling your order or being unable to attend the course. We regret that we cannot transfer your booking to another course or date. Should you be unable to attend the course we are happy to change the name on your booking so a friend or family member can attend instead. (Refund policy updated 22 March 2019 and applicable to all purchases made on or after this date).

Access Information

Filwood Green Business Park is fully accessible for wheelchair users and can cater for anyone with other specific access requirements.  

Our staff are not BSL trained, however we can book an interpreter via Bristol City Council. When booking your place on the course, please let us know that you will require this (see below).

We can provide worksheets in large print. 

Personal assistants are welcome to attend the workshops with you, please let us know in advance.
