Learn how to design and make a laser-cut Christmas card and tree decoration in this evening workshop at our digital manufacturing space KWMC: The Factory. 
During the session you’ll learn how to use design software to create a digital version of your Christmas card and perspex decoration. Your designs will then be machined on our laser cutter, ready for you to assemble and add the finishing touches. 
Beginners welcome

Suitable for ages 16+  

A number of dates are available:

Thursday 22 November, 6 - 8.30pm: self-identifying women only
Thursday 6 December, 6 - 8.30pm: open to all

Both sessions will run for 2.5 hours, from 6 - 8.30pm, at KWMC: The Factory, Filwood Green Business Park, Filwood Park Lane (off Hengrove Way), Bristol, BS4 1ET. For details of how to find us visit our main website.

  • If you cancel a place on this course giving more than 7 days notice you will receive a full refund (i.e. cancelled before 6pm on Thursday 15 November for the women-only course / before 6pm on Thursday 29 November for the course open to all).
  • Cancellations made with fewer than 7 days notice but more than 24 hours notice will receive a 50% refund (i.e. cancelled after 6pm on Thursday 15 November but before 6pm on Wednesday 21 November for the women-only course / after 6pm on Thursday 29 November but before 6pm on Wednesday 5 December for the course open to all). 
  • Cancellations made with fewer than 24 hours notice will not be refunded (i.e. after 6pm on Wednesday 21 November or after 6pm on Wednesday 5 December).

Access Information

Filwood Green Business Park is fully accessible for wheelchair users and can cater for anyone with other specific access requirements.  

Our staff are not BSL trained, however we can book an interpreter via Bristol City Council. When booking your place on the course, please let us know that you will require this (see below).

We can provide worksheets in large print. 

Personal assistants are welcome to attend the workshops with you, please let us know in advance.
